Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do to prepare for my first class?

We can’t wait to meet you!

Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early so our team can get you checked in, set up, and ready to roll (or flow, or lift). Bring water, hydrate, and get excited to move!

For cycling — you’re in control of your resistance. Each ride, you’ll feel yourself getting stronger!
For strength and yoga — our instructors will help you find the right starting level. Every class is beginner-friendly, and our community will make you feel right at home.

It is important to remember that no one knows your body quite like you! Our community encourages you to show up and be the best version of yourself while cheering you on as you grow. This does not mean pushing yourself past your limits and risking injury.

What should i wear?

Wear comfortable clothes made for exercise. For cycling, fitted leggings or bike shorts work best since baggy pants can get caught on the bike seat. For strength and yoga classes, any athletic attire is appropriate, along with clean athletic shoes that are used indoors only.

Do I need special shoes?

For cycling, our bikes support both SPD cleats and regular athletic shoes with hard bottoms. You can clip in if you bring your own cycling shoes, or use the cages with your sneakers. We also sell TIEM cycle shoes and can place an order if we don’t have your size in stock.

For strength training, clean indoor sneakers are perfect. Yoga and sculpt classes are done barefoot or in grip socks.

Do i need to bring my own water?

Yes. Please bring a water bottle to class. You’re welcome to refill it at our water station before or after your workout. We also have water for sale at the front desk in the event that you forget.

Do i need to reserve? or can i just drop in? What if I need to cancel?

If you’re nearby, you’re welcome to stop in, but classes fill up quickly and space is limited. The best way to secure your spot is to reserve online through our website or app.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least eight hours before the start of class to receive your class credit back. Cancellations made within eight hours will result in the loss of the credit. Credits are not refunded to the original payment method.

Unlimited members who cancel late will be charged a $10 fee. No-shows will be charged an $18 fee.

What if a class is full?

If a class is full, be sure to join the waitlist! When a spot opens up you will be automatically added to the class up until 1 hour before the class. If you can not make it to the class, please remove yourself from the waitlist. If you are added to the class and can not make it— our typical cancellation policy still applies.

What is the class cancellation policy?

If you cancel more than eight hours before class, your class credit will be returned to your account. If you cancel within eight hours, the credit will be forfeited.

Unlimited members will be charged $10 for late cancellations and $18 for no-shows.

If Spin Unlimited must cancel a class due to weather or other circumstances, your class credit will always be returned regardless of the timing, and we’ll give as much notice as possible.

Do you offer a monthly membership?

Yes, we do. You can view all membership and class pack options on our pricing page, or talk with our team in the studio to find the best fit for you.

I’m a monthly member. How do i cancel my membership?

If you wish to cancel your membership, please contact the studio manager at least 14 days before your next billing date to ensure it can be processed in time.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to uniontownspinunlimited@gmail.com. We’re no longer able to accept cancellations through social media messages, texts, or in-person requests at the front desk.

Requests submitted within 14 days of a renewal date will be processed for the next billing cycle, and the upcoming payment will still be charged as scheduled. No refunds will be issued for payments already processed or within that 14-day window.

how far in advance can I schedule?

Our schedule is released monthly. You can view and reserve classes about a week in advance using our website or app. While we do our best to keep the schedule consistent, small changes may occur, so check back regularly for updates.

How old do you have to be to come to classes?

All riders must be at least 14 years of age and older. If you are a minor (under the age of 18), a parent or guardian must be with you to check in for your first class so that they may sign your waiver. After they check you in the first time— you’re good to come to class on your own from then on!

I have a pre-existing health condition- Is it okay for me to come to classes?

We recommend everyone discuss their health and wellness journey with their doctor BEFORE coming to classes. Once your doctor gives you the go ahead- we’ll be happy to have you in class!

I’ve never worked out before.. What should I do?

Everyone starts somewhere, and you’ll be in great company here. Let your instructor know it’s your first class so they can help you feel comfortable and confident. We’ll meet you where you are, encourage you to move at your own pace, and help you grow stronger with each class.
