Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do to prepare for my first class?

You’ll want to arrive about 15 minutes before your class is set to start so our team has enough time to prepare you for class and answer any questions you might have. Be sure to hydrate and get ready to sweat! For cycling classes, it is up to you how much resistance you choose to ride with. Each time you ride you will get stronger! For strength training and yoga, you will be able to connect with your instructor and start at an appropriate level. All of our classes are beginner accessible and we are a welcoming studio.

It is important to remember that no one knows your body quite like you! Our community encourages you to show up and be the best version of yourself while cheering you on as you grow. This does not mean pushing yourself past your limits and risking injury.

What should i wear?

Make sure to wear comfy clothes that are made for exercise! For cycling, you will move off and on the bike seat, so try to avoid baggy pants. Fitted biking shorts or leggings are a great choice. For strength training and yoga classes, any athletic attire is appropriate as well as athletic shoes that you designate for indoor use only.

Do I need special shoes?

For cycling- we offer clip or cage features, meaning, you can ride with your regular athletic shoes (with hard bottoms), or clip into our peddles. Our bikes are compatible with SPD cleats for those bringing your own shoes. Finally, we also offer TIEM cycle shoes for sale, and if we don’t have your size in stock, we would be happy to place an order for you! For the group fitness classes, regular athletic sneakers are appropriate for class, just make sure they are clean and preferably shoes you wear inside only. Yoga classes do not require shoes.

Do i need to bring my own water?

Yes! We advise you to bring a water bottle. You’re more than welcome to refill it at our water station.

Do i need to reserve? or can i just drop in? What if I need to cancel?

If you are nearby and want to stop by, feel free. With that being said, we have limited spots available in each class and they will fill up quickly, so the best way to secure your spot is to sign up online via our website or app. If you need to cancel- be sure to do so 8 hours prior to the reserved class in order to receive the full class credit back on your account. If you do not cancel prior to that time your pass will be revoked. **The class will not be refunded back to the card it was purchased on. If you are using an unlimited membership and a late canel occurs you will be charged a $10.00 fee. If a no show occurs, you will be charged a fee of $18.00.

What if a class is full?

If a class is full, be sure to join the waitlist! When a spot opens up you will be automatically added to the class up until 1 hour before the class. If you can not make it to the class, please remove yourself from the waitlist. If you are added to the class and can not make it— our typical cancellation policy still applies.

What is the class cancellation policy?

If you cancel before the 8-hour cancelation period, the class credit will be added to your account. If you cancel within 8 hours of the class you scheduled, you will lose the class credit. Unlimited members will incur a $5.00 charge for any late cancellations and a $16.00 fee for all no-shows. If Spin Unlimited must cancel a class due to weather-related issues, the class will be added back to your account regardless of the time between cancelation and class and we will do our best to give you as much notice as possible.

Do you offer a monthly membership?

Yes we do! Check out our pricing page for more information. We would be happy to talk to you about our different packages in the studio as well!

I’m a monthly member. How do i cancel my membership?

If you are a monthly unlimited member and want to cancel your membership, contact the studio manager at least 14 days before your billing date. Failure to do so will result in auto-bill and no refunds will be given.

how far in advance can I schedule?

Classes are available by the month. We will do our best to keep our schedule as current as possible, but not all things are in our control and the schedule can change. Be sure to check our schedule 1 week in advance using one of our online scheduling tools.

How old do you have to be to come to classes?

All riders must be at least 14 years of age and older. If you are a minor (under the age of 18), a parent or guardian must be with you to check in for your first class so that they may sign your waiver. After they check you in the first time— you’re good to come to class on your own from then on!

I have a pre-existing health condition- Is it okay for me to come to classes?

We recommend everyone discuss their health and wellness journey with their doctor BEFORE coming to classes. Once your doctor gives you the go ahead- we’ll be happy to have you in class!

I’ve never worked out before.. What should I do?

Similar answer to the question above— consult with your doctor prior to attending classes. It is important to discuss your health and wellness journey with your primary care physician before you begin taking classes.
